Robyn Axel-Adams is the manager for the Center for Medical Ethics. Before taking this position, she worked at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital as a Staff Chaplain. She is an ordained United Methodist clergy person. She completed the Fairbanks Fellowship in Clinical Ethics in 2011-2012, where she focused on developing a curriculum for teaching internal medical residents about medicine and spirituality. Her current work is in Advance Care Planning, serving as a resource for IU Health and an educator for Advance care Planning facilitators. She is a fierce LGBTQ ally, an NPR nerd, and loves to be outside. She is married, has two children, and two cats.
